Dong-soo returns home to find his wife soaking her hands in a basin of ice. He visits a unique inmate upon Beom-jae’s introduction

Dong-soo and Beom-jae begin to tail Park Jae-yi, under Do-young’s orders. They meet an unexpected figure after infiltrating her house.

Dong-soo makes a shocking proposal to Do-young, in a desperate attempt to save Beom-jae.

Dong-soo is furious after finding out that his wife has been sued by the manager. Do-young tries to lure Dong-soo into a partnership.

Dong-soo agrees to work with Do-young to set up the new business, on the condition that the latter frees him after the job is done.

Dong-soo witnesses Do-young’s subordinates bringing stacks of cash into the office. Do-young meets an old acquaintance.

Dong-soo tells Do-young the reason why he got onto Moon Sang-guk’s bad side. The police discovers the body of Park Jae-yi.

The prosecution barges into Moon’s law firm with a seizure and search warrant. Kim Jae-yeol warns Do-young not to trust Dong-soo too much.

Dong-soo agrees to Do-young’s proposal of opening a law firm. Beom-jae grows suspicious about Moon Sang-guk’s whereabouts.

Beom-jae tells Dong-soo not to turn himself in. An ambush on Do-young turns the house into a bloodbath.
