Jang Hwa-sa escapes from the crime site where Ma Hyun-chul was found dead with Ki San’s help but is threatened to make sure she wins the trial for Ki Chan-sung.

The moment Yoo-jin turns on the defibrillator to exchange Hae-yi and Hwa-sa’s souls, Ki San enters the ward to meet Hwa-sa. On the other hand, an unexpected person appears in Ki Chan-sung’s second trial.

Jang Hwa-sa delivers the evidence to Bong-san, which causes Ki Chan-sung to be arrested in court. Hae-yi tells Ki San about what Jang Hwa-sa has done. Angry Ki San sends someone to murder Jang Hwa-sa.

Hae-yi gets arrested as the murder suspect of Ma Hyun-chul because of Ki San. Bong-sam finds traces of something on the glass shards of Ma Hyun-chul’s liquor bottle.

Hae-yi’s name is cleared, as it is revealed that the real culprit is Ki Chan-sung, but she gets fired from Damjang. Yoo-jin and Hwa-sa work hard to prove that Ki San is actually Choo Young-bae.

Hae-yi is threatened by Ki San who, has evidence of her corrupt actions. She is considering withdrawing her request for Hwa-sa’s retrial. On the other hand, Yoo-jin decides to break up with Hae-yi.

Hae-yi asks Hwa-sa to rescue Yoo-jin. On the other hand, Hwa-sa infiltrates Damjang to retrieve the vital evidence in Ki San’s hands but instead finds evidence of Hae-yi’s corrupt actions.

Hae-yi and Hwa-sa successfully prove their evidence valid in court and get ready for the retrial. Ki San furious after knowing that they are the ones who stopped Chan-sung’s soul swap.

Hae-yi manages to win a retrial for Hwa-sa while Ki San tries to hinder the retrial. Ki San attempts to swap Chan-sung’s soul into Yoo-jin’s body. Hae-yi brings her final plea to prove Hwa-sa’s innocence.
